Owe $4000 credit card debt, and it’s being collected by a law firm can they sue me and what are my rights?

Also payments are being made on this (bank credit card) I fell behind for three months and they sent me to this law firm to collect, but this law firm is threatening they want the full amount paid off even though I am making payments every month now, they want more money per month which I cannot afford(financially very strapped) OR they are threatening for me to pay in full or they will sue me and make me sell my home to pay off this debt. If I let them take me to court while still making my payments conistently do I even have a leg to stand on? Don’t know what to do…

zet ondertussen uw betalingen voort.
persoonlijk, in mijn ervarings allen het neemt is een geleide document brief en deze firma’s trekken zich met de schriktactiek terug en nemen de regelmatige betalingen. im berijmd niet in Canadese schuldwet maar identiteitskaartgissing tenzij u uw huis als borg bouwt schuinen zij aanraking af het. noch kunnen zij u met eisen na het overeenkomen om betalingen te nemen kwellen, aangezien dat zelf een contract ook vormt. herinner me de wet een bidirectionele straat is.
