... asked: I am trying to get my credit in better shape so that I can buy a house. I made deals with a couple of collection agencies. I told them I would pay in full if they would agree to take the items off of my report. They did. However, there is a collection agency that is really being stubborn about working with me. I also told them that I would pay in full if they would take it off my report. They said that they could not do that. How can I get them to agree to take it off my credit report if I pay in full?
