We don’t want credit card consolidators or debt relief or debt management we want to pay them off with out hard earned money and be debt free!
I am not trying to get into more debt. I am trying to get out of it. I do not want to pay anything and that includes interest…

I’m paying off a lot of credit card debt and currently have my student loans in a deferral status. But the big monthly payments will start up again at the end of this year.

Aside from trying to “drop off the radar screen” or looking for a much better-paying job that would quickly burn me out, I’m curious if anybody has any leads on this matter.

PS: Don’t recommend declaring bankruptcy because student loan debt is exempt from that.

My son had a laptop put on a credit card that he got. Then lost his job and has not been able to pay it. They called and told him they were filing a lawsuit for “fraud against a federal inst.” Told him he has until 4 today to come up with $4,000.00 or they will file the charges. Can they and will he go to jail if they sue him? Thank you for your help
He lived in Michigan and is 26. Now in New York.

I’m a 5th year senior and no loan company that I’ve found will lend me money after this semester. I’m currently not in school because of health issues (had to take the Spring semester off). I don’t have a job because I am hoping my health (need surgery) will be resolved before August so I can go to school again. But I can’t go to school if I don’t pay the 7k and I need to pay tuition for next semester. Does anyone know of how or where I can get a loan?

4 days ago, I came home and received a summon paper (SUM-100) in my mail box, said I am being sued by a credit card company. The case is filed at my local resident, California. Limited Civil Jurisdiction. File date Feb, 28, 08. There is no court appearing date indicated, but the first page said that ” You have 30 calendar days after this summons and legal papers are served on you to file a written response at this court & have a copy served on the plaintiff…..” I never sign the served paper. They sue me for $5,200, plus 10% interest and $1,300 attorney fee. The time of last payment of the debt is within 4 yrs. I don’t remember that I even used this creditcard or sign it. I just came out from a bad divorce, have no job, beside my car, my bank account with limited money, I own nothing in my name. Can the bank get judgment to freeze my bank account, take all money in it, take my only car, if I choose to ignore the served paper? Please help, any advise is greatly appriciated.

they say that they will pay for themselves yet my familiy is tightly streatched like we only have a free 20$ a week from my job. my parents money is instanly swollowed up by debt. we can gamble on solar panels if they will bring money into our pockets so we can pay things off. im worried that if we buy a solar panel good enough to power a 300$ a month house and it doesnt reverse the dial. we…are… in-bind!!
